The Baltic Sea Unit is a unit within the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) that develops cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region. The Baltic Sea Unit has a special assignment from the Government based on Swedish interests to support activities in the fields of the Environment & Energy, Social and Health issues and Civil Security. Projects and activities are aimed at facilitating the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.
