Gotland International
Gotland International is an association of four Visby-based and Sida-supported organisations, ICLD, IPK, Sida's Baltic Sea Unit and SWEDESD.
With the aim to contribute to cross-boundary learning for a more sustainable and cohesive world, a series of seminars under the auspices of Gotland International was initiated in the autumn of 2009.

Professor John Fien, Professor of Sustainability, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia:
The relations between inadequate education and poverty are unambiguous and therefore education is one of the most powerful tools to fight against poverty. Three areas of education have been identified as crucial: education for all, vocational training and education for sustainable development.

Munira Hamoud:
“Reclaim Women´s Space in World Heritage” is a part of a Twinning project between the World Heritage towns’ Stone town in Zanzibar and Visby, Sweden. The Reclaim project was carried out 2004-2009 under the guidance of Genderinstitut Gotland.

Jan Jörnmark:
Jan Jörnmark, Ph.D. in Economic History and Katarina Wikars, producer and journalist, have travelled around Eastern Europe to study the transformation of society through the remains of deserted and abandoned places and buildnings.
